Fuel Oil Release

Fuel oil delivery truck was involved in an accident resulting in a fuel oil release of approximately 1,500 gallons. Two waterways were impacted by the release.

RRI crews arrived quickly on the scene to begin clean up of released
product using absorbents and collecting surface oil using vacuum tankers.

RRI teams constructed several underflow dams for collection of
released oil. RRI worked with PADEP to develop an action for remediation of released product.

RRI installed monitoring wells to monitor contamination levels and
possible migration of the release.
